So... I found the guy I was writing my story with 7 years ago.. on Facebook. I mentioned it to him and he said to abandon it. Should I? Or should I just modify or rewrite it, change the names, redesign the characters we created...? and if I do... is it still a bad thing that I want to keep this story alive considering it's apart of my past? and if I do decide to rewrite it, I'd have to change so much of the places and what not so that it wouldn't be copying plot lines from anime shows. and since its been 7 years, I'd be like opening a locked door to what I lost along time ago.

All the characters I introduced into the story we created is like... giving them a home. lol. It kind of makes me sad that they won't "get to live" iono.. they all have back stories and stories that take them past the actual main story. I've really thought this thing out! and I feel like I'd be throwing away a chunk of my life... or a fat sketchbook of a whole other world... its like a giant video game that you never got to finish cause you're stuck in a forest not knowing where to go cause there's 5 different quests you were supposed to do with NO direction of how to get to those places. LOL (which is where I pretty much left off in the story). XP

Sappy and tacky, I know, but I'm really attached to [my] characters and I don't want to just abandon them and not give them a happy ending. You know?

Am I just over thinking it just cause I wrote the story with someone else that could possibly be upset at me for keeping it alive? Should I abandon it? or not? Thoughts?
